7th Pay Commission 

and 

Report of the Empowered Committee...

The Report of the Empowered Committee for further revival and implementation of  the 7th Pay Commission has been finalized..

The Committee is to have a final meeting with the stakeholders in the next week ie Tuesday or Wednesday ..

The Committee to submit its report to the Finance Minister on Friday the 24th June or Monday the 27th June..

It is learnt that the Minimum Pay Recommended by various ministries have been summarized for decision to the Government.  There would be no particular recommendations as to the fixation of Minimum Pay by the Committee.

However, recommendations of the Ministries with reference to Posts, Upgradations in Grade Pays , restoration of some allowances has been put up.

Merger of some grade Pays in order to bring up the minimum Pay scale may also be recommended for the Government to Decide on the entry level pay.

The Pay Matrix recommended by the 7th Pay commission may not be taken into consideration for fixation of Pay on promotion to higher post.

The level of increments and the Promotional Pay for Regular and MACP is not clear . 

The Finance Ministry has also asked the Committee to speed up the submission at the earliest.

All allowances would be counted from 01.01.2016 and the arrears would be paid in full.
