A Very Long Awaited Good news for Postmaster Cadre Officials........

All Postmaster Grade II and Grade III post to be filled up on one time based on the relaxation granted by DOpT.................

1.  Those who have completed 4 Years in Grade II will be considered for Grade III Promotion..

2.  Those who have completed 2 1/2 years in Grade II will be posted as Grade III but shall not be treated as regular..

3. Those who have completed 5 years in Grade I will be considered for Grade II Promotion

4. Those who have completed 3 years in Grade I will be considered for Grade II promotion but shall not be treated as regular....

The promotion will totally depend on the number of Posts lying vacant as on date........

Grade III   -   52   -    Vacant    39  


Grade II   -    52   -    Vacant     36

( After Promotion to Grade III Number of Vacant Post will be 47 )

Around 47 Grade I Officials May get Promoted to Grade II subject to : -

1. Number of officials declining in Grade III....
2. Number of Officials declining in Grade II.....


Note :-

The cadre Review is being considered vigorously by the Directorate as per its reply to PJCA.    Hence the Number of Posts of PM grade I , II and III may likely increase on the implementation of Cadre review...

The CHQ will be asked by this union to follow up the Cadre review proposals and implementation before this one time relaxation is exercised by the Department in the Postmaster Cadre....
